A Tactical Infiltration Protocol
KIRO is not just a board game; it is a physical reconstruction of a 400-year-old Japanese defense system. Forget dice, cards, or luck. In the KIRO fort, your only weapons are deductive reasoning, spatial awareness, and the courage to face the ticking sand.
The Shogun’s engineers designed the fort to be a psychological labyrinth. Every move you make is a choice between safety and sacrifice. Can you navigate the 6x6 grid and find the exit, or will you become another permanent resident of the fort’s "Forbidden Chambers"?

Kiro is not a battle between players, but a challenge issued by the Master Architects of the past. Whether you face the board alone or join forces with a fellow strategist, your goal remains the same: navigate the labyrinth and escape the Fort. You are playing against the game’s original design—a sophisticated tactical puzzle that requires patience, foresight, and flow.
The Three Stages of the Ritual
Om de gameplay duidelijk te maken, verdelen we het in de drie stappen die je noemde, maar we geven ze een thematische naam:
Step 1: The Grid Survey (Inventory)
Before the first move is made, you must understand the terrain. Lay out the foundation and inventory the grid. This is the moment of stillness where you assess the boundaries of the Fort and prepare your mind for the challenge ahead.
Step 2: Tactical Deployment (Placement)
Secure your presence on the matte obsidian surface. Carefully place your items onto the grid. Every placement is a strategic anchor; a well-positioned piece is your only defense against the traps set by the Master Architects.
Step 3: Carving the Serpent (The Path)
The climax of the ritual. You must now weave the 'Snake'—a continuous ribbon of movement—from the Torii gate to the final exit. You are not just moving; you are drawing a path to freedom (Michi) while the board itself tries to close the door.
The Laws of the Celestial Grid
The Fort of Kiro is not merely a board; it is governed by the Tenchi-Matrix, the sacred intersection of the Celestial Skies and the Earthly Spirits. To escape, you must master the harmony between the Guardians and the Elements that dictate the flow of time and space.

The Guardians & The Elements (The Grid)
The 6x6 Master Grid is etched with the sacred symbols of the Tenchi-Protocol.
The Guardians (Rows):The Monkey, the Fox, and the Dragon guard the horizontal paths. Each possesses its own behavior and hidden rules that you must decipher to pass.
The Elements (Columns):The Sun, the Moon, and the Lightning dictate the vertical flow. They represent the shifting nature of time and space within the Fort.
The Secret Rooms
The Fort is never the same twice. Your progress is obstructed by Secret Rooms, heavy, weighted stones crafted with a premium, high-gloss Urushi-style finish. These are your physical barriers, the fog of war that masks the terrain. Underneath each stone lies a hidden elemental power, Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth, or a treacherous dead end. You do not just move these stones; you negotiate with the elements they conceal to clear your path.
The Six Sacred Items
As the Serpent’s Path(the Ribbon) unfolds, you must encounter and collect six sacred items in a specific ritual order. Each item is a milestone in your escape, a beacon of light in the darkness of the Fort.
The Torii
The sacred gateway. Your journey begins by stepping from the mundane world into the spiritual challenge of the Matrix.
The Seal
The first mark of authority. It grants you the right to navigate the inner sanctum.
The Lantern
To illuminate the hidden. Without its glow, the secrets of the elements remain dark.
The Compass
To find your true north. In a shifting Fort, the Compass ensures the Ribbon stays its course.
The Hourglass
The keeper of honor. It reminds you that time is a fleeting resource; every second is a choice.
The Portal
The final passage. The only way out, where the Serpent finally leaves the Fort and returns to the light.
The Infiltration Dossiers (The Missions)
Your journey is documented through 30 Unique Infiltration Dossiers. From the humble Initiateto the legendary Shogun-Master, each dossier presents a different starting configuration. No two escapes are the same; each mystery requires a new perspective on the Serpent’s Path."
The Ritual Hourglass (The Cost of Honor)
"In the Fort, time is a finite resource. The Ritual Hourglass, a hand-finished wooden sand-timer, tracks your honor. Every grain of falling sand represents a fading opportunity. When the sand runs out, the gates of Kiro close forever, and your story remains trapped within the walls."

Pure Logic, Zero Luck:Every failure is your mistake; every victory is your genius.
Infinite Replayability:Beyond the 30 included dossiers, the modular nature of the stones allows for thousands of unique "Infiltration" setups.
A Masterpiece of Design:Beautiful enough to be displayed on a coffee table, yet deep enough to challenge the sharpest minds.
A Growing Mystery:The game is just the beginning. Every box is a key that unlocks further secrets hidden within the KIRO-Archives.
